Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro Launched, Know Its Price, Camera Power, and Special Features

Xiaomi recently celebrated its 15th anniversary by hosting a major event where it launched several new products. The highlight of this event was the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, a smartphone that combines a premium design with powerful performance and an impressive camera system. Building on the success of its predecessor, the Civi 5 Pro introduces new features like the Leica camera system, advanced AI portrait capabilities, and the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, making it a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment.

One of the standout features of the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is its Leica Summilux optical system, previously seen in the Xiaomi 15 series. The device sports a Leica triple camera setup comprising a main Leica Summilux sensor, a Leica floating telephoto lens similar to that in the Xiaomi 15, and a 50MP ultra-sensitive front camera with NanoPrism technology. This setup enhances photography with AI features such as AI Skin Regeneration for natural skin tones, AI Facial Micro Plastic Surgery that refines facial details, and AI Photo Style offering five distinct photography modes. Thanks to NanoPrism technology, nighttime selfies show reduced noise and more natural colors.

Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, nicknamed “Little Supreme” by Xiaomi. Despite its slim 7.45mm body, the Civi 5 Pro houses a large 6000mAh battery, providing all-day usage without overheating, even during intensive tasks like gaming or video editing. It also features a three-dimensional boss ring cold pump for effective cooling.

The design draws inspiration from the Xiaomi 15 series, featuring a compact frame, thin bezels all around, and a metal chassis. It comes in five stylish color options: Nebula Purple, Sakura Pink, Black, White, and a new Ice American shade. The camera module adopts a unique “Floating Mirror Set” design that replaces the traditional flat round camera layout, adding to the phone’s sleek aesthetics.

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro runs on the new Xiaomi Pengpai OS 2, which includes features like Super XiaoAi, AI Dynamic Wallpapers, and seamless Apple Ecosystem integration. This integration allows smooth file transfers, desktop mirroring, and cross-platform functionality between Xiaomi phones and Apple devices.

Available in three variants — 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB — the phone is priced between roughly ₹35,000 to ₹43,000 in India. All variants are currently available for purchase with national subsidies.
